Normally I prefer concrete answers, but taking the story as a whole, ambiguity also works here. I enjoyed the film, and the only thing I would suggest is leaving the end more ambiguous, by removing one skyline. Not to diminish the work of the others, I think we're seeing a new acting legend begin with Peter Coady, who has been in several films recently, and I hope we'll be seeing more from him. The situation gets worse when the guy's co-conspirator shows up to clarify the situation, that she will be the sexual slave of one or both of them (probably him). It's severe enough that she doesn't have custody of her child, lands in the hospital, and later ends up the captive of a man who seems to be not that stable. This is the story of a woman who has a drug problem.
